the diff also adresses the following issues:

- bump eapi
- respect LINGUAS variable in gettext manner
- use "doicon -s" and benefit from icon cache (pixmaps is rather a fallback for non-conform icon sizes)
- remove unrecognized configure options (including unicode useflag), see
