I have run the ./configure myself and it doesn't find libgtkhtml even though i have both libgtkhtml-2 and -3.1. This then causes monodoc 0.11 to fail (bug 43862). gtkhtml is in my USE Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: emerge -u gtk-sharp emerge -u monodoc <- fails, missing gtk-sharp.dll Portage 2.0.50-r1 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.3.3, glibc-2.3.3_pre20040207-r0, 2.6.4-rc1) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.4-rc1 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz Gentoo Base System version 1.4.3.13p1 distcc 2.13 i686-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r3 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.3 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=pentium4 -O2 -pipe -g" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.1/share/config /usr/kde/3.2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=pentium4 -O2 -pipe -g" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache nostrip sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j3" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/home/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage /usr/local/bmg-gnome-current" SYNC="rsync://rsync.namerica.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X alsa apm arts avi berkdb bonobo cdr crypt cups dga directfb encode esd fbcon foomaticdb gdbm ggi gif gnome gphoto2 gpm gtk gtk2 gtkhtml gtksharp guile imlib java jpeg kde libg++ libwww mad mikmod motif mozilla mpeg ncurses nls oggvorbis opengl oss pam pdflib perl png python qt quicktime readline sdl slang spell sse ssl svga tcpd truetype usb x86 xml2 xmms xv zlib"
This is filed as http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=55760 I think the ebuild should check for gtkhtml-3.0 explicitly or maybe a patch to change the mentioned files (configure.in and gtkhtml/gtkhtml-api.xml)? I think it is just a matter of changing 3.0's to 3.1's. I don't know if my setup is "supported" with using the masked gnome-2.6 ebuilds but it would be nice. Thanks
a blocker.. wth man, you are using ebuilds not in portage.. so .. no soup for you. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 45937 ***
