After I installed dev-libs/openssl-1.0.1c, I found many programs (such as git) that use /usr/lib/libssl.so are unavailable. Here goes the problem: # ldd -r /usr/lib/libssl.so linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffff7bff000) libcrypto.so.1.0.0 => /lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 (0x00007f8f19e83000) libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007f8f19ad5000) libdl.so.2 => /lib64/libdl.so.2 (0x00007f8f198d0000) libz.so.1 => /lib64/libz.so.1 (0x00007f8f196ba000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f8f1a4cb000) undefined symbol: SRP_Calc_u (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_check_known_gN_param (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_Calc_client_key (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: EVP_aes_128_gcm (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_create_verifier_BN (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_Verify_A_mod_N (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_Calc_B (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_Verify_B_mod_N (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: EVP_aes_128_cbc_hmac_sha1 (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_Calc_x (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_get_default_gN (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: EVP_aes_256_gcm (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_Calc_server_key (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: EVP_rc4_hmac_md5 (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: SRP_Calc_A (/usr/lib/libssl.so) undefined symbol: EVP_aes_256_cbc_hmac_sha1 (/usr/lib/libssl.so) I have tried to re-emerge dev-libs/openssl-1.0.1c, which generated the .so file. But the problem is still there. What's that '/lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0' ?
It looks like one of wreck files from the old version. I moved them out and the problem fixed. Thanks! (In reply to comment #1) > What's that '/lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0' ?
