I believe the user in this post is affected by this bug: http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14897, in that ld gets installed, even though he properly set the gold USEFLAG etc. Could someone on the toolchain team check and make sure this patch is in our patch tarball for binutils?
