Hi Was trying to "emerge iscsitarget" when I got a new make error: make -j5 KSRC=/usr/src/linux usr Sorry, your kernel version and/or distribution is currently Applying Patch compat-2.6.32.patch patching file kernel/conn.c Hunk #1 FAILED at 44. 1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file kernel/conn.c.rej make: *** [.patched.3.5.7-gentoo] Error 1 make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... not supported. Please read the README file for information on how you can contribute compatibility/bug fixes to the IET project. make: *** [true] Error 1 emake failed * ERROR: sys-block/iscsitarget-1.4.20.2 failed (compile phase): * (no error message) * * Call stack: * ebuild.sh, line 93: Called src_compile * environment, line 3364: Called die * The specific snippet of code: * emake KSRC="${KERNEL_DIR}" usr || die; * The reason why I wanted ISCSI, is because I have a NAS server, which I have some LUN/TARGET's on and what them to be accessiable from all my PC's around 24/7. This is a big issue to me, because I actually wanted to try something new instead of Win7/8. http://packages.gentoo.org/package/sys-block/iscsitarget emerge iscsitarget : http://bpaste.net/show/77892/ emerge --info : http://bpaste.net/show/77896/ Best Regards
I regret that I did not see this bug report sooner. iscsitarget-1.4.20.2_p20130103 was in three at the time and should have resolved this. I am opening a stabilization request for this now.
