Description Reinis Danne 2013-02-14 23:53:06 UTC
From time to time mutt segfaults, it seems that more often I'm using it the more it crashes. Basically the same backtrace all the time:
#0 __strcmp_sse2 () at ../sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/../strcmp.S:214
#1 0x0000000000472051 in set_buffystats (Context=0x44b3940) at sidebar.c:343
#2 0x0000000000420011 in mutt_index_menu () at curs_main.c:678
#3 0x0000000000408ac9 in main (argc=1, argv=<optimized out>) at main.c:1083

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have multiple IMAP accounts open
2. Jump between them reading/sending mail
3. Leave mutt running in byobu[tmux]

Actual Results:
Sometimes it will segfault. It doesn't seem to correlate with the length of time it is left running without touching it. More like some interaction between switching accounts, IMAP connections idling out and changed state because of reading/sending mail. I suspect that sidebar somehow is losing context, but I couldn't track it down how it could happen exactly.

Expected Results:
Mutt running until I close it.

This bug is hard to tackle without knowing what Context->path and tmp->path are pointing too. I suspect one of them is NULL.
