Description Frank Riley 2002-07-05 09:10:06 UTC
Please find attached tomcatle.tar.gz.

This ebuild will install the LE version of tomcat, the Apache Servlet Engine. This should go into net-www/tomcatle.

tomcatle.tar.gz

This file should be unpacked into net-www.

Not dead yet. This ebuild has been postponed as it is selected to be run through
our new ebuild submission system. I've run it through a few times, and it
produces various errors; we need help with how well the reported error messages
are and how well the ebuild submission system works in general.

It will take another few days before I can give you more details, as we need to
plug the submission system into bugzilla.

Can you resubmit an ebuild that downloads the tomcatle sources and actually
builds it ? That'd be more in line with the Gentoo policy of always building
from sources, so that users may apply patches and do site-specific fixes as they
install.

Once you've written the new ebuild, just reopen the bug, and I'll get to it.
Terribly sorry about the immense delay, I've worked on a new ebuild submission
system, but it's not going to happen before 1.4 is released :/
