I cannot test with higher versions as the mythbackend runs on a debian stable system, and recent versions of mythfrontend needs recent mythbackend. When I wanted to remove pulseaudio from my system (mythfrontend with pulseaudio does not work correctly here, video playback is jerky, and I need to kill pulseaudio for mythfrontend to return to the movie list when typing the "escape" key).
