The Squid HTTP Proxy team is very pleased to announce the availability of the Squid-3.2.7 release! This release is a security update and bug fix release resolving several issues and a number of memory leaks found in the prior releases. Some major changes to be aware of: * Numerous memory leaks are now resolved With help from Coverity, RedHat and several other contributors we have managed to close a number of small memory leaks and a few larger ones. The majority of these leaks are individual objects * raw-IP URL handling when IPv6 is disabled has been fixed This resolves teh final issues known with systems having IPv6 disabled or operating with a split TCP stack. * OpenSSL NO_Compression option support This SSL option allows disabling of TLS/SSL compression to assist with preventing CRIME attacks on proxy HTTPS traffic. This excludes CONNECT tunnels where the proxy is not involved.
