1. untar stage3
2. chroot in
3. webrsyc
4. emerge -uNDav world

immediately then get a block between sys-apps/kmod-12-r1 and sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.16-r2

I am aware of the trivial workaround for this, but can the stage build should be updated to have kmod from the start?

In my case, using stage3-amd64-nomultilib-20130110 I HAD this bug, but with stage3-amd64-nomultilib-20130130.tar.bz2 I don't.

This should be fixed in the latest stages. Feel free to reopen if you hit this again.
