I think enlightenment-0.17.0
was ment to be stable release enlightenment17-1.0
and wants to get stable, 
not the beta enlightenment-1.0.11

Not at all. enlightenment-1.0.11 is pretty stable creature and quite independent of new e17 which you can consider as independent project nowadays.

mask e16 if you don't like it
