For me, the bug was manifest as klickety crashing immediately on startup. I suspect this is one of those bugs which depends on how aggressive the optimisations are, because it worked on my dad's PC and on my powerbook, but crashed on my desktop machine.

patches from kde bugzilla

This is a combination of the "klickety patch" and the "ksirtet + kfouleggs
patch" from the KDE bug, with the paths from the klickety patch changed so the
whole patch works with epatch. Applies against kdegames-3.2.0 and
kdegames-3.2.1.

This has been fixed in kde since 3.2.2 I think.
