Would be nice if the Cyrus SASL 1.5.27 ebuild could check for the ldap use flag,
and if found include the LDAP patches from http://www.surf.org.uk/src/cyrussasl.html

I will attach the ebuild I created to add the feature to my system.

This is my first bug report, so forgive and inform of any errors..

Cyrus SASL Ebuild with support for LDAP Patch

The ldap patch also adds MySQL, but I have not added the ./configure options
and use flag tests for it.

The current version of cyrus-sasl in portage is 2.1.6 and has LDAP support. 
AFAIK, there are no packages that still specifically depend on the 1.x series of
cyrus-sasl.

NOTE* - There are no configure options to enable ldap support is sasl... you
need to make sure to have ldap installed on the system before you emerge this
version.
