I have a laptop with intel+amd hybrid graphics. When I switch to discrete gpu using aticonfig, Xorg doesn't start. I see this error message in Xorg.0.log: "(EE) fglrx(0): unable to query kernel module!(EE) fglrx(0): PreInit failed". When I switch to integrated gpu, Xorg starts successfully (but only with patched or downgraded intel driver, another bug). With xorg-server-1.12.2, ati-drivers-12.6 and xf86-video-intel-2.19.0 everything worked as expected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install x11-drivers/ati-drivers-12.11_beta 2. aticonfig --px-dgpu 3. Try to restart X Actual Results: I see black screen Expected Results: I want to see my desktop rendered on discrete gpu Kernel: vanilla-sources-3.6.7 Xorg: xorg-server-1.13.0-r1 Intel driver: xf86-video-intel-2.20.13 patched xf86-video-intel-2.20.2 non-patched, same result
