Has anybody checked the correct function of the zaphfc module from the dahdi-2.6.1 ebuild? I tried to get zaphfc working but it fails completely - no function in TE nor in NT mode. Verified with gentoo-sources 3.0.35, 3.4.9 and 3.5.7. dahdi/zaphfc modules are loading fine, asterisk/chan-dahdi doesn't complain anything. The only thing I get is "waiting for TEI". In my despondence I wrote a replacement for the hfc-stuff in '98-non-digium-hardware-and-oslec.diff' in 'gentoo-dahdi-patchset-1.1.1.tar.bz2' by adopting the 'hfcs' module of <http://sourceforge.net/projects/dahdi-hfcs/> and *surprise* the HFC-card is working again (tested in TE-mode with gentoo-sources-3.5.7). Anybody who can confirm the not-working-of-zaphfc? Or did I miss something?
You're the only one who has this exotic hardware. Please supply the necessary patch and I will release a 2.6.1-r1 for you.
(In reply to comment #1) > You're the only one who has this exotic hardware. THAT'S what I won't believe :) Maybe I'm one of the lost souls who runs gentoo AND that piece of hardware ;) On the (german) forum <www.ip-phone-forum.de> there are (were) many guys who tried to get this card to work. I solved this puzzle together with some other guys some years ago and ported it to a somewhat stable ebuild - and you finished it up in dahdi-2.2.1.1 > Please supply the necessary patch and I will release a 2.6.1-r1 for you. ...enclosed... Thanks again for fixing up things!
