pacemaker-1.1.8.ebuild

Hi Raphead,

I need some help you might be able to offer to test this new version (see attached ebuild).

So far I've bumped the following cluster software :
* corosync-1.4.4
* corosync-2.1.0 (hard masked)
* cluster-glue-1.0.11
* libqb-0.14.3

On my test cluster I can't make a pacemaker-1.1.8 work fine with a corosync-1.x communication layer. It seems impossible for me to have pacemaker-1.1.8 be a simple update of pacemaker-1.1.7, would you mind to try this out and report back maybe ?

What I got working is a full corosync-2 + pacemaker-1.1.8 fresh cluster tho but that would mean a breakage for upgrading.

Thanks

Hi Ultrabug,

yes I will do this, if you give me about 4 weeks.
I will order two brand new servers next week and will use them to set up everything from scratch. Also in combination with DRDB.
Is this acceptable for you or does it take you to long?

Thanks

Sure thanks, unless I get an answer [1] or have time myself to dig more into this. We'll see what upstream will say about this matter as well.

Cheers

Okay I got an answer and fix from upstream to get pacemaker-1.1.8 backward compatible with 1.1.x clusters. So I was finally able to test this successfully and I'm glad to announce it's in tree now :)

I'll do a blog post about this bump with more details of the changes and stuff.
