I am unable to install the CQue from the setup script provided by Canon as they have a dependency (libpng12.so.0) which I cannot resolve. I see that an ebuild has been created a while back for german users (but the files required are no longer available) at the following url: http://gentoo.2317880.n4.nabble.com/attachment/177776/0/cque-de-1.0.9.ebuild Is it possible for someone to please create an ebuild for CQue or BrightQ Pro? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.download CQue zip file 2.unzip 3.run ./setup Actual Results: fails as it cannot find a required library (libpng12.so.0) Expected Results: Install the required software
Its been a couple of months and no indication as to whether anyone is looking at this? I have been doing everything I know how to but I really need some help with this. I am sure I am not the only one using a Canon printer with user names and passwords required. Progress (or lack of) on my side described here: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-925036-start-0-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-.html
Is anyone still interested in this? Upstream link: http://www.canon-europe.com/support/products/imagerunner/ir3300i.aspx?type=drivers&driverdetailid=tcm:13-1185460&os=LINUX&language=EN
Created attachment 477720 [details] ebuild for =net-print/cque-3.0.5 I am interested. I attached a working ebuild for the current version that I cobbled together based on one for an older version.
