Description Rick Farina (Zero_Chaos) gentoo-dev 2012-10-13 18:59:19 UTC
When running "emerge -vp @blah" any binary emerges are colored in purple while source emerges are in green.

I would like these same colors to apply during actual merge so that the output makes it more obvious when emerging binary vs source.

currently output like this is all in green:

>>> Installing (903 of 1012) net-wireless/gr-osmosdr-9999
>>> Emerging binary (909 of 1012) dev-python/pyserial-2.5-r1

What I would like is when "Emerging binary" that the package name is purple instead of the current green to more match the output of emerge -v[ap]

This is fixed in 2.1.11.27 and 2.2.0_alpha138.
