Description John Russell 2004-03-04 19:10:28 UTC
I went to emerge gnome-vfsmm. During configure it checked for glibmm and didn't find it. After emerging glibmm the gnome-vfsmm ebuild proceded to completion.

My guess is that glibmm needs to be made a dependency of gnome-vfsmm and then gnome-vfsmm will pull in glibmm when it is emerged.

afaik glibmm is part of gtkmm atm, so you cant miss it and you can't emerge glibmm because it is not available in the tree seperatly. Explain how you did this ?

Reassigning bug to current (unstable) maintainer.

You are right. The glibmm emerge was in my overlay directory. I didn't realize that I still had some ebuilds in there. glibmm must have been removed from the gtkmm ebuild that was also in my overlay. Sorry I didn't check that first.
