Created attachment 325810 [details] wrong rendering of the icon The application renders its icon incorrectly as in the attatchment screenshot. I tested with both the gnome (default) and other (Faenza) icon themes and checked the same problem.
What Gnome version are you running? (3.2, 3.4, 3.6...)

the problem is that I cannot find a way to report the problem to new upstream: https://github.com/epienbroek/mail-notification Probably I could send him a private mail via: https://gitorious.org/~epienbroek But I registered and I am still waiting for mail confirmation. This could also be reported to Fedora people (bugzilla.redhat.com), but they will probably point you to test with Gnome 3.6 if they are not seeing the problem (if they are also able to reproduce that would be nice)
But I can't see any notable differences with: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/mail-notification.git/tree/mail-notification.spec Maybe you could try to report to fedora people with a screenshot to see what they think
