fuse-exfat-0.9.7 ebuild did dosym mount.exfat-fuse /usr/sbin/mount.exfat which allowed mount to pick up exfat automatically fuse-exfat-0.9.8 links to /usr/bin/mount.exfat instead and mount complains about unknown filesystem type
> fuse-exfat-0.9.8 links to /usr/bin/mount.exfat instead and mount complains Can confirm.
I see. I'm more or less following the new directory structure defined by Fedora and they have plans on letting 'sbin' die in favour of 'bin' -- merging the directories. I'm not sure yet if they patch util-linux so that this works, or if they still have compability symlinks in place, or even possible that they haven't gone so far yet. So yes, I will move them to their original location and futhermore, they also need udev rules file just like ntfs3g has so that it will work for udisks -> and with that -> nautilus, Thunar, and other filemanagers. I'll do this once I'll get home -- to my devbox with commit access...

Install udev rules too as per forums post. See + bug #437230 for details and link to the forums post. I think that should make it work for every scenario... reopen if not, thank you for reporting
