x32 making executable
Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2012-09-22 17:59:37 UTC
it doesn't really make sense for any of those files to be executable. but regardless of the +x bit, they should all be the same ...
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2012-09-24 00:00:42 UTC
looks like it's the portage logic that tries to make sure shared libs are executable doesn't handle all possible multilib paths

    for i in "${ED}"opt/*/lib{,32,64} \
             "${ED}"lib{,32,64} \
             "${ED}"usr/lib{,32,64} \
             "${ED}"usr/X11R6/lib{,32,64} ; do

Here's a fix for some similar code in env-update:

http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/portage.git;a=commit;h=1a189611ef19a624f3d180d184faa5fcef17e7bf
Comment 6 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2012-09-24 04:10:32 UTC
This is fixed in 2.1.11.21 and 2.2.0_alpha132.
