Description Marius Muja 2004-03-02 02:42:10 UTC
The genkernel's generated initrd image fails to umount /tmp/.initrd/dev at cleanup stage. A have the same problem as in the Bug#: 40882, and even if it says that _beta12 fixes this problem, I am using genkernel-3.0.1 and the problem persists.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. compile kernel with genkernel
2. reboot

Actual Results:
/dev/hda8 on / type reiserfs (rw,notail)
none on /tmp/.initrd/dev type devfs (rw)
/dev/hda8 on / type reiserfs (rw,notail)

Expected Results:
/dev/hda8 on / type reiserfs (rw,notail)

I moved to kernel 2.6.3 (gentoo-dev-sources) and everything is ok (except that / is mounted twice).
