In gnome 3.4 ,i use desktop 1080p resolution ,when i play a game (for example 1024x768 ) and exit the desktop resolution isnt the 1080p selected , it shows game resolution.Using gnome 2.3 haven't this problem,i use opensource ati drivers.

I know gnome 3.4 isnt stable yet.

Try with 3.8, I don't see that problem
