After upgrade the new pidgin does not comes online for my irc and xmpp accounts. It displays the online status icon with message "waiting for network connection".

I have to go to account manager check-uncheck the accounts and then they go online. (the message "waiting for network connection" does not disappears, but I can see and chat with my contacts and on irc-channels)

I use the zeroconf and re-emerged the pindgin and the buggy behaviour disappeared.

No other reports about such an issue. Considering this version of pidgin has been removed from portage a long time ago we can makr this bug as obsolete.
