the hashalot utility is now at version 0.2, with support for salted hashes, significantly increasing the resiliance of generated hashes against optimized dictionary attacks. Bumping to a 0.2 ebuild is as simple as cp'ing the 0.1 ebuild file to 0.2. It'd be nice to get this into portage and have it as a requirement for dm-crypt, and as an option for the dm-crypt init-script.
dm-crypt no longer requires this ebuild. still nice to have one i suppose.
hashalot-0.2.tar.gz doesn't exist at the location provided in the ebuild, but I found http://www.paranoiacs.org/~sluskyb/hacks/hashalot/hashalot-0.3.tar.gz instead.. time for a 0.3?
