After upgrading cups-filters, the PDFs printed from evince are all blurry (resulting in blurry 2D barcode on the ticket). Downgrading cups-filters helps. The setup: - lprng printing server with printer filter set up, - cups client using generic PostScript driver. I will try to give more details and attach an example PDF soon. I first have to ask for a blank one which I could share publicly.
THere are 5 commits in this revison. Feel free to identify which one broken the build: http://bzr.linuxfoundation.org/loggerhead/openprinting/cups-filters/changes
Eh, next time opening bug early I should explicitly note 'please do not remove the working version'.

And --with-pdftops=pdftops fixes that.
Created attachment 322042 [details, diff] Patch setting poppler renderer as default And here's a patch doing that.
[@]}" is way too high for me. Simpler version applied, thanks!
