There was a bug report on this in 2004, and it was fixed, but the file seems to have disappeared since. (https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55643) Please add both A1 and A5 keymaps. http://aoeu.info/layouts/files/svorak.map.gz http://aoeu.info/layouts/files/svoraka5.map.gz Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 321022 [details] Svorak A1 keymap
Created attachment 321024 [details] Svorak A5 keymap
requests for new maps should really go through upstream
Hmm, I'm sad to say that makes sense.. =)
Could I get help about how to do that? I'm not sure where to send the request at all.
No need to send any requests :) Please specify a author, keymap modificators, architecture (i386, Mac ...) and layout (qwerty, qwertz...) for these files. I'm not gentoo user, so some english description is welcome too.
Great! :D Description: Both layouts are of the "Swedish version" of the Dvorak layout, usually referred to as Svorak. The A1 keeps the special symbols (like !"#¤%&/()=?) where they are on a normal Qwerty layout (the number keys with shift modifier), while A5 moves them to the keypad (with alt gr modifier). What do you mean by "keymap modifiers"? Was my answer above enough information? Here are pictures of the layouts (including special keys): http://aoeu.info/s/dvorak/svorak Svorak A1: Author: Xerxes Rånby (nickname "Liket") Svorak A5: Author: xevz Applies to both: Keymap modificators: Shift and AltGr Architecture: Not sure, I guess "all of them"? At least x86 and x86_64. Layout: Swedish Dvorak (Svorak)

Yes, looks great!
Fixed as far as I'm concerned!
