1. Сreate /var/run/clamav directory if it doesn't exists. Useful if your /var/run is a symlink to tmpfs-mounted /run.

2. Get all config values from /usr/bin/clamconf output, not from /etc/clamd.conf & /etc/freshclam.conf.

Reproducible: Always
