Description Alex Brandt (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-07-20 23:08:54 UTC
This plugin for networkmanager doesn't function without the gnome use flag. Perhaps defaulting this use flag to on or removing the choice?

To verify:

1. Install networkmanager-openvpn without the gnome use flag
2. Try to create an openvpn configuration in nm-applet
3. No option is present for openvpn configurations

Once enabling the gnome use flag and rebuilding networkmanager-openvpn the option to create an openvpn VPN configuration finally exists.

You are right. I've renamed the USE flag from "gnome" to "gtk" to indicate that non-gnome desktop users probably want it enabled too.
