Created attachment 316191 [details] pulseaudio-2.0-r1.build.log
We haven't figured out quite how to make this work yet, so don't do anything with this bug. There is an issue with systemd including udev and udev for non-systemd systems.
Created attachment 316871 [details, diff] pulseaudio-2.0 remove_udev_get_usage libudev-1.0 doesn't provide udev_get_sys_path and udev_get_dev_path this patch replaces udev_get usage with expected result, e.g. /dev and /sys.
Created attachment 316873 [details, diff] pulseaudio-2.0-r1.ebuild.patch this ebuild patch just adds applying pulseaudio-2.0-remove_udev_get_usage.patch
Even better upstream fix http://cgit.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/commit/?id=54718450dfd1e7fc9b5946f62765f7451a854385
Created attachment 316877 [details, diff] pulseaudio-2.0 remove_udev_get_usage This is upstream patch: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/commit/?id=54718450dfd1e7fc9b5946f62765f7451a854385

Thanks for reporting this -- we're probably just going to roll a 2.1 upstream soon to deal with this breakage.
And now this is broken in ~arch. Ford can you fix this _quick_ please?
As it is completely unuseable right now and there is a upstream patch i really see no reason why not apply it to 2.0. the LVM2 upstream patch was also applied to the current stable LVM2 package.
thanks, patch worked for me.

I wanted to combine this with a bump to 2.1, but since there are so many people affected by this, I've fixed this in 2.0-r2. Thanks to everybody who reported this.

To say the truth im not affected by this bug, but i know that a lot of people are and not everybody is willing to write into a bug report.
