Description Geoffrey King 2004-02-20 08:52:00 UTC
When attempting to use xchats built in help, nothing appears to happen. Neither when using the F1 shortcut or the Help menu item.

I am using KDE 3.2.0, gtk+ 2.2.4-r1 and XFree86 4.3.0-r5.

Menu-> help tries to launch gnome-moz-remote or mozilla (hardcoded)

What ways don't the inline help work? What does "/help SAY" tell you, nothing at all?

Comment 2 Geoffrey King 2004-02-20 15:47:40 UTC
"/help say" works as expected.

I do not have gnome-moz-remote or mozilla installed. I have konqueror and firefox-bin. Is there any way I can get round the hardcoding?
Comment 3 Spider (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-20 17:52:36 UTC
one idea is to create gnome-moz-remote as a shellscript that takes a string and launches konqueror with the argument passed on the commandline.

otherwise, no.
