Description Julian Ospald 2012-06-10 18:23:12 UTC
These packages make use of gtk3 useflag which indicates that there are issues of migration to gtk+:3.
Gtk3 and similar useflags should be avoided.

Adding to tracker. Please have a look.

patch for live ebuild, works for me

Please commit patch for live ebuild. upstream plans to release 2.2.8 soon.

Unless eiskaltdcpp upstream has deprecated the gtk2 gui, I don't see a reason to take away that choice for our users, for the time being. But since the qt4 gui is the preferred one anyway, I'd leave the choice up to the maintainer.
Comment 3 Sven Vermeulen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-12-31 21:23:01 UTC
Looks like only 2.2.7 still refers to the gtk3 USE flag, while 2.2.8-r1 has been stable for a while and 2.2.9 has been marked stable recently.

I'll clean up 2.2.7 from the tree

Done.
