the experimental stage1-x86-20040128 tar does not have the /dev directory with device nodes. This causes ebuild.sh to flood me with "/dev/null not found" like errors

Steps to Reproduce:




Expected Results:  
It would be convenient to at least have /dev/null, so ebuild.sh has a place to
send the numerous messages meant to go to &>/dev/null somewhere.

This bug is already known and invalid, since new livecd's are already out since > 1 week now.

The issue is fixed, of course in the newer live-cds and stages.
