Created attachment 309877 [details, diff] default responses zone for sheerdns in fact that his e-mail address doesn't work (http://threading.2038bug.com/sheerdns/) and there is no possibility to send him (the author) an enhancement patch so, i decided to post that patch here. This patch allow the sheeredns to has a default zone for default responses. If the file at SHEERDNS_DIR/default/ doesn't exist then return "no record". This future is usefull in a specyfic DNS systems.
forgot to add: I am using it on gentoo in my production environment. Please apply that patch
