I've been sitting on this ebuild for a while. The device has worked perfectly so I thought I better put it up now. The license can be found within the tarball.

This should probably be closed. 1.2.3 was released a good while ago but nothing since. Although it generally works, I had issues where the daemon would shut the machine down shortly after booting. I never really figured out why. It was the final straw when the UPS suddenly cut the power after I had just disabled the daemon. apcupsd now supports my CyberPower device and despite first appearances, it actually works out of the box.
