After upgrading to sys-fs/udev-182 my system suddenly failed to boot normally. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: The error warning was descriptive enough to find out its cause but a warning somewhere might be appropriate. For example in the eselect news message about udev-181 unmasking.
There has always been a warning for this in udev's ebuild. You just need to read it... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 408947 ***

It is not in the ebuild itself nor in the eselect warning, AFAIK. Looking through the changelog the DEVTPMFS dependency was added a few days ago as a critical dependency but then lowered in importance from a principal standpoint. This requires the warning IMHO.
