Now that x11-misc/xdg-utils-1.1.0_rc1_p20120319 has been added to Portage and it includes our patch [1], there's not longer a need to use the bundled xdg-open and xdg-mime. This patch (applied upstream [2]) will allow bundling to be disabled. Patches look good. Qt team, please commit. Alec: is there any news on a new release? I'd like to get the lightdm greeter into portage as well.

Hi Ben, Apologies for taking so long to respond - I meant to reply earlier, but then completely forgot. We're not planning to have the next release soon - the next release is going to be 0.5, and there are a lot of things that got merged but need to be fixed up before releasing and also some big changes "under the hood" so it will be a few months before it's going to be out. It might be possible to make a snapshot package of the greeter that builds against 0.4.1. If you're really interested, tell me. (I haven't worked on the greeter code, so no guarantees :)
