Turbostat has moved to: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/tree/master/tools/power/x86/turbostat

because turbostat has moved, it needs a new package (not pmtools). I'm renaming the bug and reassigning.
Comment 3 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-02-18 07:44:13 UTC
turbostat is already part of linux-misc-apps:

sys-apps/linux-misc-apps (/usr/sbin/turbostat)
Comment 4 Martin Mokrejš 2014-02-18 09:12:38 UTC
Please fix the package description to include 'turbostat' at least.

      Latest version available: 3.6-r1
Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ]
      Size of files: 80,367 kB
      Homepage: http://kernel.org/

Comment 5 Martin Mokrejš 2014-02-18 09:16:43 UTC
Or even better, why isn't the package:

1. placed under sys-kernel/ so tha one could infer that is the stuff ripped out of kernel tarball.

2. named like linux-kernel-apps
