dunst is a notification system, inheriting code and thus looking like dmenu, written in C. Currently, there's no official release, only a tree on GitHub, but it works and is pretty stable so far. Tested the ebuild on ~amd64/~x86, works for me. The ebuild could support 'savedconfing' and USE=+/-xinerama, which should be easy, but I didn't have time to read up on 'savedconfig', yet. Since we've already got dmenu/dwm and other WMs with a 'bar', I think this would be a nice addition to portage. BTW, not the author, just a fan. Reproducible: Always Actual Results: missing in portage Expected Results: should be in portage

Thanks for getting the ball rolling. Does this http://gentoo-overlays.zugaina.org/flora/portage/x11-misc/dunst/ have anything newer?
Can be closed. Dunst is in portage (though not the 9999-version).
