To easy the development of ebuilds and to make it easier to fix sandbox violations, it would be handy to have a command (esimul ??) that sets up the exact same bash environment that is active at the beginning of the processing of an ebuild file. A developer can then manually try out options and commands so see which works best, without having to relaunch complete ebuild phases each time.
