If you don't want to get Log Messages by a specific kde-application, just run "kdebugdialog", filter for the app you are looking for and uncheck the checkbox, press OK, and be happy to get silence back ;)
oh -thx
re-opened - even after disabling all debug output it spams.
Did you restart kde (logout - login)? AFAIK applications need to be restartet in order to take notice of those settings.
(In reply to comment #5) > Did you restart kde (logout - login)? AFAIK applications need to be restartet > in order to take notice of those settings. yes - issue is still present (about 10 lines per second)
Right... Seeing the same here. Do you have in systemsettings * the semantic desktop services enabled or disabled * the nepomuk indexer enabled or disabled?
both are disabled
You are not alone... https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=289932#c5
Following workaround is given in the upstream bug (comment 25): > 1. Turn off Nepomuk and kill any remaining virtuoso-t processes > 2. Delete (or move) ~/.kde/share/apps/nepomuk folder > 3. Delete (or move) ~/.kde/share/config/nepomuk* configuration files > 4. Restart Nepomuk. You can help upstream by providing following information (comment 26): > Could someone please backup the nepomuk files. Then follow the steps for > comment 25 and if it works attach them here?
(In reply to comment #9) > You are not alone... > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=289932#c5 sure that it is the same ?
No it's not the same problem, only that bugreport *also* shows this problem here...
Filed new upstream bug report
Seems to be fixed in 4.8.2
KDE SC 4.8.2 is in tree now.
