Created attachment 299683 [details]
Full build log of FPC 2.6.0 (gzipped).

The compilation of FPC's Borland-like IDE fails when it is requested by the ide USE flag. If I specify -ide the build works correctly, but no IDE is built of course.

The build log is attached.

The emerge --info details will follow in a few minutes.

Please add emerge --info details inline next time and don't compress plain text attachments.

The Bugzilla client often crashes when adding fairly large amounts of text inline. There is also a size limitation on each upload, and compression usually avoids such problems.

does this happen with 2.6.2 as well?

2.6.2 is not yet in the Portage tree.

I can try and build 2.6.2 from a download from the FPC project's FTP server, but I'm not sure how accurately that reflects using an ebuild.

It is fixed in 2.6.2.
Comment 8 Julian Ospald 2013-06-27 16:16:28 UTC
then we will close this when 2.6.2 hits stable
Comment 9 David W Noon 2016-01-25 19:11:45 UTC
Since 2.6.4 has been stable for some time, this bug can be safely closed.
