Comment 1 Stefan G. Weichinger 2012-01-12 23:06:08 UTC
sorry for the noise! the patch there is against the kernel, not for libdrm ... sorry
Comment 2 Stefan G. Weichinger 2012-01-16 19:20:39 UTC
The bug still exists with gentoo-sources-3.2.1.
Could apply patch successfully.

Still in 3.2.1-r2

Still broken in 3.2.2.
Comment 5 Stefan G. Weichinger 2012-03-01 23:34:24 UTC
And still not fixed in 3.2.9.
I don't understand, did Linus not yet pull the patches from the libdrm-folks?

If I understand correctly, the fix will only be in kernel 3.3.
Comment 7 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2012-03-04 21:28:30 UTC
Patch is available in kernels >= 3.2.7

What do you mean? ">=gentoo-sources-3.2.7 will contain this patch from now on" ?
thanks
Comment 9 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2012-03-06 19:08:17 UTC
Any kernel which has a version number that is greater than or equal to 3.2.7 will contain the patch fix.

It didn't so far. So I am looking forward to new gentoo-sources.
Thanks.
