The official release (20031221) does successfully detect the card, and correctly initialises it, but the 20040124 beta does not. I know that this is only a beta, however I thought that I would give an early "heads up" on this... especially since I want to use it ;-)
what's the module name on that ?
megaraid.o Under the "official" this comes up and gives fairly complete information, and, more importantly, allows me to access the drive. Under 2.6.2-rc1-gentoo the device is not found, and therefore I also cannot access the drives.
megaraid.ko is very very very broken btw ... it is not 64bit safe, many people have had problems with it, we can't support this. -Brad
