Description Jason Mours 2012-01-05 01:33:53 UTC
Affected by the same pkglibdir errors others are seeing, like with rrdtool & grub. Which I can confirm. I'm also having the same issue with graphviz. Wasn't sure if it's an astemic errata or each ebuild needs amended.

Reproducible: Always

janice rrdtool # cat /var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/icecream-0.9.7/temp/automake.out
***** automake *****
***** PWD: /var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/icecream-0.9.7/work/icecc-0.9.7
***** automake --add-missing --copy --foreign

Someone on IRC told me that automake-1.11 is to blame, and that putting WANT_AUTOMAKE="1.10" or WANT_AUTOMAKE="1.9" into /etc/make.conf should make the build go through - and indeed, it does.
Comment 3 Michael 2012-01-13 09:33:48 UTC
I can confirm, that the icecream build works with automake < 1.11.
