Description Gregg Casillo 2004-01-23 12:43:15 UTC
As it did as far back as 1.6.1.91 (that I know of), mjpegtools appears to continue to depend on the installation of xfree and gtk. As many of us use this as a command-line only tool, I think it would be better if the ebuild didn't depend on xfree or gtk. In order to get this to install on my xfree-less box, I had to apply this patch from an earlier bug report, #36771:

Any change of making this ebuild aware of the user's preference for or against xfree/gtk and allow for an install either way?

Reproducible: Always

Looks like this has been fixed in 1.6.2. Thank you!
