Description Randall R. Foshee 2004-01-23 08:55:35 UTC
After downloading the live cd 1 and live cd 2 from 2 different sites, neither file has any autorun.ini file to make the cd bootable! How is it supposed to boot, if the computer can't recognize the disk as bootable? I have a dual Pentium III coppermine system. Was the autorun.ini file missing? Or forgotten? When you look at other linux progs, Mandrake, RedHat, ect. they ALL have an autorun.ini file to initialize the disk and start it running.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.I don't have a fix.
2.
3.

autorun.ini is only used for when its inserted while windows is running,
Gentoo uses isolinux to boot, just like most other distros

I have found the answer to this problem. It is not with your software. It was with my cd burning software. I have since discovered the problem and fixed it.
