Probably a patch like this has to be applied to that version too ? :

Please send your patch to upstream.
Comment 4 Tim Harder gentoo-dev 2011-11-12 23:21:14 UTC
This appears to be fixed in 3.0.8.

sure ?

I get with 3.0.8 :

./../scripts/ line 25: kill: test...: arguments must be process or job IDs
FAIL: testdsa

I can't really test since I never experienced the failure with 3.0.7 or 3.0.8. However, I was just guessing it was fixed since the patch you pasted in comment #2 was applied to 3.0.8.
Comment 7 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2011-11-15 08:39:41 UTC
From upstream ( Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos <> and CC: :

The patch that was previously sent to solve that issue was applied. Is
the failure because of another reason (and if yes which?)

Comment 8 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2011-12-19 13:09:07 UTC
Issue is still in 3.0.9 and can be solved by this (got from upstream):

 Could it be related to:

That is would the patch at [0] solve the issue you see?
