Comment 2 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-21 11:41:04 UTC
xmkmf and imake should both be in /usr/X11R6/bin
Comment 3 Sascha Müller 2004-01-21 14:33:42 UTC
OpenMotif 2.1.30 ebuild overwrites those files

See http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6851
Comment 4 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-22 02:46:00 UTC
At my system openmotif-2.1.30-r4 does not provide either. In any case, solve the problem by remerging xfree
Comment 5 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-26 18:19:43 UTC
he's right - a reemerge of xfree fixes your problem.
Comment 6 KaZeR 2008-04-13 22:39:30 UTC
Problems occurs to me while emerging kde-base/kdm-3.5.8-r1

configure: error: xmkmf/imake not found. Please make sure it's in PATH!
Comment 7 KaZeR 2008-04-14 08:52:43 UTC
There is now a package x11-misc/imake
Maybe it should be added as a dependancy?
